Relief International is all set to host yet another Radio talk show as part of the activities for the “Transparency for Human Rights (THR)” programme. Funded by the European Commission and implemented by Relief International, the THR programme promotes respect for human rights through use of media and technology.

The upcoming talk show will also focus on Child Rights, which an integral part of human rights and is often subject to misinterpretation and violation. The talk show will be aired on Radio Foorti at 11 am on 9^th December 2010, and will discuss the importance of observing child rights and its current status in Bangladesh, various causes of Child Rights Violations, sustainable solutions to the problem and the like. Dr. S M MORSHED,National Consultant (Advocacy and Social Mobilisation),Child Labour Unit of the Ministry of Labour and Employment and Mr. Korvi Rakshand, Founder, Jaago Foundation will be the guest speakers of the event. Mr. Sharfuddin Khan ,Programme Officer, Social Mobilization and Economic Development, ILO – IPEC will be the moderator of the show.
